Hi, I'm Leah a creative coach who supports people to bring their minds, hearts and bodies into the here and now so that they can enjoy a full-bodied life. I help quietly brave, big-hearted folk feel more alive, more themselves, and able to live life on their own terms doing things that truly make them happy.

When I'm not hanging out with the hound, you will mostly find me outdoors creating experiences that support people to connect back to their true nature. I do this through my coaching experiences, events, and Leah's letters (which I highly recommend you sign up to!)

Here are the kinds of folk I like to work with……

  • People who have been incredibly resilient, the ‘strong ones’ who are tired and want more softness and ease in their life.

  • They’ve often experienced loss in their life – bereavement, a relationship, hopes of a future. Life has felt heavy for too long. They want to feel lighter again.

  • Self-aware creatures. They’ve read the self-development books and listened to the podcasts, maybe had some therapy in the past. They understand WHY they are the way they are, but don’t know HOW to change. They’re ready to go deeper.

  • Mindful creatures who want to live life on their own terms, making conscious decisions rather than following the crowd.

  • They know deep down what really makes them happy, but don’t give themselves permission to go for it. It’s now their time to shine.

  • They believe that life is a gift and they want to enjoy it.

  • Creative souls who have something to share. Staying invisible is becoming stifling, they are ready to be bolder.

  • They enjoy simplicity, nature, good food, AND often have a cheeky, playful spark within.

  • They want to access a sense of inner peace and deep self-trust.

Does that sound like you?

I want this for you....

I want you to feel right at home with yourself.

I want you to be able to live in the here and now.

I want you to laugh, like really belly laugh.

I want you to 'effort' less and 'live' more.

I want you to be able to rest, nap, do nothing – guilt free!

I want you to know that your pain can live alongside your joy.

I want you to feel light.

I want you to consciously make choices, disrupt your routines and live life on your own terms.

I want you to feel alive!

I know what it’s like to feel dead inside. In 2014 my brother and sister died. After many years of battling with themselves and addiction to alcohol they died of deep unhappiness and a little bit of me died with them too. (I know this is pretty heavy, but I promise it gets better……)

After this, I had to learn to accept my life and allow myself to live it and be truly happy. I believe that to really feel alive, we have to accept and embrace all of our experiences, all of our emotions, the good, the bad and the super ugly. Life is full of light and shade – that’s what makes us human, and experiencing the darkness has taught me to fall in love with the light even more. The things I have learned over the years (combined with my professional experience – see below) have helped me heal. I believe that joy and self-compassion are the antidote to our deepest fears and that is why I do what I do – to allow you to fully experience how brilliant you are and make the most of this magical life you have.

I’ve spent a big chunk of my life working with teenagers (see my professional bits below), and what they have taught me is that we are all little kids inside big bodies. We carry our fears, worries and insecurities from the past and get very good at pretending we are winning at life! But we don’t have to pretend anymore. If we are brave and willing to open our hearts and minds, we can befriend our inner child, make space for them and bring them along for the ride. That’s why I believe that the advice, guidance and support we give our children is exactly the medicine we need to give ourselves.

So know that should you choose to work with me, all your feelings are welcome, because when we allow ourselves to feel the full range of our human emotions, that's when we really come alive!

(aka the professional bits)…….

Accredited Certificate in Body-Oriented Coaching (2021)

with The Somatic School London. Accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) I am a somatic coach, which means I will support you to understand your mind and body as one eco system and how this impacts the way you think, feel and behave. My style of coaching helps you to tune in to your present experience and become aware of your current patterns of feeling and thinking so that you can access the most helpful and resourceful parts of you. My work is experiential and is underpinned by mindfulness-based practices, polyvagal theory, and body oriented practices, that allow you to connect to your own wisdom, so that you learn to trust and care for yourself.

Certified Life Coach (2011)

with the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM 2011) –I’ve coached anxious teenagers, stressed out teachers, teams and managers in the public sector. I’ve heard a lot of stuff. I have a way of making the heavy, dark stuff feel a bit lighter. I’m as comfortable with the tears as I am with the giggles.

10 years experience working in drug and alcohol addiction services

I’ve seen people at their most vulnerable, supporting them on the scary journey through recovery and getting to know themselves again. It taught me a lot about human resilience and how trauma impacts our lives.

10 years experience working with children in residential care

I’ve read bedtime stories to 16 year olds who were scared and spent Christmas with kids who had no family. I learned the skills to regulate my own emotions so that I could hold theirs. This work taught me that we are all little kids inside big bodies. We carry our fears, worries and insecurities from the past and get very good at pretending we are winning at life!

Head Honcho at Leah Sian Davies HQ since 2012

By far the biggest self-development journey ever! Dealing with myself on a daily basis, navigating the highs and lows of single handily running a business, creating and crafting experiences that bring me joy and bring light to the world. This is my ongoing learning and teaching for myself.

PGCE Cert Ed (2007)

I taught A level sociology, and designed and delivered hundreds of mental health and wellbeing programmes to students, teachers and health and social care professionals. So I’ve been in a classroom or two and believe me there is no tougher crowd than 200 teenagers at 8am on a Monday morning – I’ve learned to think outside the box.
