Soulful Storytelling Episode 9 - My Thoughts on Sobriety
Here is the 9th episode in the Soulful Storytelling series. We couldn’t have our live event this time due to the global pandemic, but we still managed to have the chat and all the storytelling magic over the airwaves. This is a follow up to the last episode where our storyteller Alex Lloyd Jenkins shared his story about being alcohol free for 7 months.
In this episode I share my own thoughts and my relationships with alcohol and I am being interviewed by my other half Rich from our kitchen. So it’s a bit like a Mr & Mrs ☺
We chat about…
Our experiences with alcohol and why we drink less than ever before.
Why my events are booze free zones.
The different pressures on men and women to drink
Growing up in the 90’s, ladette culture, clean living generation Z, zero percent beers and the rise of boozing in lockdown
PLEASE NOTE: There is some explicit language in this episode. Also if you or someone you know is drinking regularly and is struggling to stop, please seek medical help via your GP or local drug & alcohol service. Withdrawing from alcohol can have fatal consequences.
Here’s some useful stuff we shared in this episode…
