Leaning in to the support around us
There are times for solitude and self care and there are times where we need to fuel up from the resources around us. This has been an ongoing lesson for me - Miss independent 😉
But we are not meant to do life on our own and we are certainly not meant to hold the big stuff like grief on our own. Sometimes we need to lean into the support around us - people, places, nature, pets 😊 to resource and build our capacity to hold the big stuff within us.
This is about connection - being able to connect to those resources so that we can come back and connect to ourselves.
My ‘Grief in nature’ experience is about creating those conditions for connection. To gather the resources and support available to us so that we can replenish ourselves. So that we can hold the range of emotions and experiences that bring us to life.
If you are struggling to hold your grief, loss, or any pain know that’s because you’re not meant to hold it alone.
If you’re curious to know how to create the conditions to hold your big and uncomfortable feelings, I am hosting a free online ‘Introduction to grief in nature’ on Wednesday 14th June 6.30pm (BST). This will be where I share what the ‘Grief in nature’ experience is all about and some ways that we can make space for our grief in our lives. Info and booking is here
